Warehouse & Business Support Manager

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse & Business Support Manager. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on work and office tasks, is highly organised, and values efficiency in delivering exceptional customer service. As part of our team, you’ll balance warehouse and production tasks with computer-based stock management. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, managing stock effectively, and supporting customers with professionalism. We value those who can learn, adapt, and grow with our business as we continue to expand.
Remuneration will range from £25,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on the candidate’s level of experience.

The role

As Warehouse & Business Support Manager your key responsibilities will include:

  • Stock Management: Maintain accurate stock levels, ensuring items are properly positioned and easy to locate. Conduct routine stock checks, manage aged stock, and report on stock churn to keep frequently moving items readily available.
  • Goods In: Oversee the receipt and processing of deliveries, ensuring stocks are booked into the system and stored correctly.
  • Goods Out: Manage the picking, packing, and preparation of goods for delivery, optimising processes to improve efficiency.
  • Delivery & Project Support: Take a hands-on role in manual labour projects such as custom pack building, delivery, assembly, and removals. Supervise staff to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
  • Site Organisation: Ensure the warehouse and surrounding areas are clean, well-organised, and hazard-free, creating a welcoming environment for client visits.
  • Customer Support: Provide professional and friendly support to customers via email and phone. Assist with product searches, quotations, orders, and lead times. Guide customers in using our web-based ordering platform.

Skills and experience

  • Experience with stock management systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel would be beneficial.
  • Customer service experience is a plus, but most importantly, we’re seeking someone eager to learn and grow with us.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential as the role is onsite at our Cardiff facility.
