MacIntyre is a prominent charity established in 1966 by Kenneth Newton Wright, a parent of a disabled child. The charity has since grown to support over 1,200 children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities and/or autism across the UK. Known for its commitment to high standards and expanding choices, MacIntyre has become a leader in the national charity sector with a workforce of 2,300 employees and an annual turnover of £66 million.
MacIntyre sought to express gratitude and recognition towards its widespread and diverse team during the festive season. The challenge was to effectively communicate appreciation across the entire organisation, reinforcing the charity’s values and boosting staff morale during a crucial time of the year.

Our solution

In response, I-Tel Group was commissioned to design and produce a unique holiday appreciation gift. Our creative team devised a Christmas cracker-shaped box, fully branded with MacIntyre’s logo. Each box was filled with festive treats and games, carefully selected by MacIntyre’s leadership from our extensive catalogue. The boxes were adorned with festive decorations and distributed by our internal logistics team, ensuring timely delivery across the UK within a specified timeframe.

The results

The Christmas gift initiative was tremendously successful, receiving high praise from staff and becoming an eagerly anticipated annual event. The project’s success led MacIntyre to expand their collaboration with I-Tel Group, incorporating a full staff engagement program that now includes new starter packs and length of service awards.


Furthermore, through I-Tel Group’s facilitation, MacIntyre has partnered with one of our corporate clients to engage in joint fundraising activities. Subsequent staff satisfaction surveys have shown a marked increase in employee appreciation and morale.
